Getting Back to Basics

Once again, scandal, corruption, cover-ups and secret deals coming out of Albany and Senator Maziarz Office. In light of the recent scandals involving Albany insiders and sexual harassment cover-ups and payoffs we have at least 2 of Georgie’s staffers and close friends.  The most recent involved Glen Aronow and a harassment case that has been going on for over 3 years.  This case was just settled in May of this year at the same time Shelly Silver was bailing out his buddies with tax payer money.  Coincidence?  I think not.  To see where Aronow was employed and his salaries go to http://seethroughny.net/payrolls/legislative/ and type in aranow, glenn.  It will show him on Maziarz staff in 2010 and 2011.  He now is in a different state office in Albany, still on our dollar.  Next we have Mike Carney, Maziarz confidant, appointee and close friend.  While he was at NCCC there were 17 sexual harassment complaints filed against him.  I won’t go there with any of the other but I think you can see a pattern here.

Now we have in today’s Buffalo News that Niagara County is considering revising down its buffer zone for sex offenders and their proximity to schools, playgrounds etc.  Why, because the state has a far less restrictive law on the books and these laws are being overturned left and right.  Last I looked, wasn’t George a State Senator that was supposed to watch out for us and our families?  Maybe he’s worried that if the law gets stronger his staffers will have to move.  First he moves all the sex offenders into our cities, concentrating them in apartment buildings, setting up dens of inequity. Then, they get to move closer to our kids because he was too busy promoting how great he is and protecting his staffers from alleged sex related offenses to watch out for us and our families well being.

Isn’t it time we ended the culture of sexual abuse of women and money that has engulfed Albany and now Western NY? Tell Georgie and his merry band of misogynists we don’t want them anymore.  We show women the respect they deserve, not harass and abuse them.
